Between Networked Blogs (Facebook), Twitter peeps and Google Followers all rounding out to a few hundred, to rename it now would just be like rolling the boulder down the mountain and starting over. It's funny the way first impressions are, and sometimes it takes a while to get to know someone. I confess I went to Bukowski's Basement a few times in the past and quickly left for a couple of reasons: I don't care for Bukowski or, very much, for Kerouac, but more importantly I didn't get why a fiction writer would write under the banner of another writer, whoever it is (even though that photo of Bukowski is great). Because of this bias on my part I didn't give your writing a fair shake, Anthony. I mean this in the best possible way: with a mug like yours, with a nickname like "Ant", and most importantly with the way you write, you don't need any other writer's name or mug associated with you.

And Cathy, the way you wove this interview around that great piece of Anthony's (which I think is better than Bukowski)was brilliant.Mark Kerstetterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13307987573435067415noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8260274117021957060.post-74910288970895663562010-06-10T15:07:25.663-04:002010-06-10T15:07:25.663-04:00Cathy, your skills are so impressive that there ar...Cathy, your skills are so impressive that there are no words!

Did not know Anthony at all but, wow, he is such out of this world writer!Marisa Birnshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17945909737147497606noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8260274117021957060.post-22754758387583147772010-06-10T14:26:53.693-04:002010-06-10T14:26:53.693-04:00I knew Ant was one tough sob with the proverbial h...I knew Ant was one tough sob with the proverbial heart of gold but had no idea that we both shared Elvis Vegas weddings in common, great take Cathy and thanks for prying the lid off the big can-o-literary whoop-ass we all know as Buk.
