I have also recently read her Left Neglected and found it good as well. Alzheimer's was described to me by a friend, whose mother had it, as "dying by inches." I couldn't agree more.umbrellaladyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06640257199319618306noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8260274117021957060.post-58528618154752150172012-05-07T07:40:22.953-04:002012-05-07T07:40:22.953-04:00Your poor brother. What it does is offer insight from the viewpoint of the person with Alzheimer's and a plea to let them live in the moment - every moment they have left. They might not remember it, but they can enjoy it as it happens.Cathy Olliffe-Websterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12729578896443750402noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8260274117021957060.post-81529592167502513702012-05-07T07:38:36.991-04:002012-05-07T07:38:36.991-04:00Awww....I just want to hug you, EC. oxoxAwww....I just want to hug you, EC. oxoxCathy Olliffe-Websterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12729578896443750402noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8260274117021957060.post-36064836717510067512012-05-07T07:37:54.881-04:002012-05-07T07:37:54.881-04:00Gonna have to get it, KD. I joke that losing memory means I can reread books, but that scares me too. I am balanced on the edge of a very scary pit, so I have some understanding of how you felt after reading this book. It is one I would love to read as well.Elephant's Childhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06650565833097914052noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8260274117021957060.post-70845090754451356862012-05-07T00:12:43.311-04:002012-05-07T00:12:43.311-04:00I read this book a couple of weeks ago and so I kn...I read this book a couple of weeks ago and so I know what you are talking about.
