I just realized I signed up for the A to Z Blogging Challenge. HAHAHAHAHAHA! Writing a post every day but Sunday for the entire month? When I haven't written one post for so long I forget how?
So then I thought maybe my topic should be Being A Blogging Loser From A to Z. A could be Avoidance, because I've abandoned my blog for days at a time. At one point I only clicked on it because a friend told me a spammer was writing rude shite on it. You know, even ruder than my own personal shite.
I'll think about it. It's actually not a bad idea. I could probably even write something funny. And, you know, pigs could fly.
They could.
I saw someone throw a sausage roll across the room once. Does that count?
I've been abandoning my blogs lately. I don't think I could pull off the A-Z this year so I didn't even sign up for either blog.
ReplyDeleteSomehow life has a way of getting in the way, Ruth. Hopefully both of us will find our blogging legs again soon.
DeleteYou could do the A to Z of house selling...or the A to Z of coping without your mate....the a to Z of the fear of heading off half way across the country. I'll bet if you took one afternoon you could whip half of them off and schedule them. Come on girl...you can do it.
ReplyDeleteYou are a very good cheerleader, Delores. I may just do that! ox
DeleteI bet you could come up with some great stuff! It will get you back in the mode and socializing with us again. You need that!
ReplyDeleteThank you Alex. You're probably right, I do.
DeleteYou crack me up!!! I'm sure you can come up with A-Z topics with no trouble! :D
ReplyDeleteThat makes two of us cracked! :)
DeleteNever mind you needing to blog - WE NEED YOU. And I am more than confident you can knock the A to Z on its head. Why stop at one theme? You could do ALL the themes Delores suggested. (Cowering in corner - please don't hate me - much.)
ReplyDeleteI could NEVER hate you EC! I love you to bits!
DeleteSnorting laughter at the image of a sausage roll being thrown across the room = pigs flying. Too funny! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm still struggling with my A-Z posts a bit, too. Hang in there!
Thanks for the snort, Madeline! You hang in there, too!
DeleteYou haven't really abandoned a blog until you realize it's been a different calendar year since the last one, and we're not talking December to January.
ReplyDelete*checking the date... feeling relieved*
DeleteYou sound like someone who has done that, Tony!!
Whatever you come up with, I'm sure it'll be grrrreat.
ReplyDeleteMe, I'm gonna sit this one out. In fact, I'm gonna pretty much take the month off from blogging. I'll try to stop by some of the blogs from time to time just to see what everybody else is up to, but I don't plan on publishing a single post. I'll try to pop in here to see what you come up with. (You go, girl!)
Well I fully expect the promised pop.
DeleteI think that sounds like a fabulous idea, and you already have one letter taken care of!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you'll do splendidly. This is my first year with it. I'm just gonna wing it and hope for the best.
ReplyDeleteHugs!
Valerie Nunez and the Flying Platypi
I wish you luck...the theme that you suggest could probably be adopted by a lot of us. I'm sitting out the challenge this year, too. After a 3 year round of alphabet Sundays and two A-Z challenges I'm not sure there are any letters left in my brain. I can only mange my weekend posts these days.
ReplyDeleteNot so sure about pigs flying. But a Moose? Well, yes! On your blog, no less.
ReplyDeleteI just out of hibernation and I'm trying to get for disgruntled to gruntled. A bit of a challenge.
See you from eh? to zed. Hopefully.
Blessings and Bear hugs!
Oh, my gosh! You're the most hilarious woman on the planet. If you ever go on a comedy tour, I'll be your agent because I want a cut of the profit, lol! :P
ReplyDeleteHey! There's a shiny award waiting for you over at my blog! If you want it, go on over! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Celeste! Woot!
DeleteIt'll be fun to do A-Z with you again!
ReplyDeleteYou can do it! The blogging world needs more smiles and you certainly know how to deliver!
ReplyDeleteI can manage three, maybe four blogs in a week, between the regular one and the joint blog I do, but I can't do a blog a day, unless at some point I start a photo blog, but that doesn't require quite the same kind of work. I'm astonished at those who take part in this each year!

ReplyDeleteMy mother use to make pigs in a blanket. Even better? An entire baking pan of batter and sausage. She called it "toad in a hole"!
