I'm overwhelmed, honestly, just overwhelmed. Other than having a colonoscopy, this day was as perfect as any day ever has a right to be.
I wrote more than 4,000 words this morning, bringing my NaNo word count to 25,613 words.
Tonight I went to Weight Watchers and found out I'd lost seven pounds this week, bringing my total to an absolutely incredible FIFTY POUNDS.
I have no words but my heart is as light as a feather on a spring breeze.
Well wow. Super-duper my dear. There's more than your heart that's light as a feather -- a HUGE congrats! Peace...
ReplyDeleteOH MY HOLY HELL, you are AMAZING!!!! Congratulations on everything, that is wonderful and I'm just thrilled for you!! WAY to GO!!!
ReplyDeleteSeven pounds in one week..okay, now I'm getting a little concerned. I mean, I'm here on the sidelines with my poms poms cheering you on but seven pounds in one week is kind of scary. Are you sure you are eating enough?
ReplyDeleteOh...and major congrats on the word count.
All I have to say is squeeeeeeeee!
ReplyDeleteYes, my ass is getting feather-like too, Linda!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLisa: OH MY GOD I FEEL THE SAME WAY! THANKS!
Delores: never fear my sweet Ontario angel! The ONLY reason I lost seven pounds this week was because I had to fast for two stinking days for my colonoscopy! FOR SURE i wasn't getting enough to eat then!!!! Two pounds a week is honestly all I'm shooting for but if I have to fast, by geez, I'll take the extra benefit of weight loss!!!!
And squeeeeeeeeee right back at you, Mizz Miller!
Wow 50 pounds is EPIC! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteAs you get lighter and lighter, your manuscript gets heavier and heavier. Careful, or you'll become a flea on the back of Moby Dick.
ReplyDeleteGood news Cathy Keep up the good work
