9,851 words and weirdness

I just realized I had forgotten to update my word count on the Nanowrimo website.

Can't have that.

So I proceeded to add up what I'd written this afternoon. Part of it was finishing up one chapter and the rest was well into another chapter. I added up all the words and they totalled 1,960.

THAT'S THE YEAR I WAS BORN!

How freakin' weird is THAT?

  1. That IS odd! Now what would have happened if you hadn't done your tally? The mind can go right off the page with that one.

  3. You go girl. That word count has you a bit ahead of the average pace. Don't be like me in 2009, fighting to catch up in the last five days.

Creepy about the 1960 business...AND...if you add those digits up it equals 16...the numbers of fingers and toes I have.

  4. LOL! I just about wrote that "it's a wonder you couldn't finish NaNo earlier with all those extra digits," then I realized we actually have 20, and 16 is LESS, technically speaking, than 20, so once again I have proven myself as a Math Simpleton.
    Thanks for the giggle, Alan!
